Privacy policy
Homegaita Drive Backup is a personal, owner-controlled utility that uses rclone and Google Drive for selected backups.
Data accessed
With the owner's Google authorization, the utility accesses the data needed for selected backup operations:
- File and folder names and associated metadata.
- File contents required to create, read, or update the selected backups.
Purpose and transfer
This data is used only to carry out the owner's selected backup operations. It is transferred between the owner's systems and Google Drive. Google Drive read and write access allows the owner to manage backup files and folders, including removal when requested by the owner.
The utility does not sell this data or use it for advertising.
Retention and control
The owner retains selected backups until the owner removes them. Revoking authorization stops future authorized access; it does not itself remove existing backups.
The owner can revoke the utility's authorization in their Google Account settings and manage retained files directly in Google Drive.
This informational website
The page code does not access Google Drive or include account login, forms, analytics, or advertising.
The hosting provider may process technical request data needed to deliver and protect these static pages and may use necessary security cookies for that purpose.
